Hi, my name’s April.

I’m a graphic designer and photographer based in Portland, ME.

I started my career as an Airborne Mandarin, Chinese Linguist in the U.S. Air Force. After my experience with the military, I didn’t want to waste any more time not doing what I love. So, I went back to school and earned my B.F.A. in Graphic Design. I’m deeply grateful for the journey that brought me here and for the work I get to do every day.

Outside of design, I love to travel, be outdoors, play sports, make music, and shoot photography!

In my creative work, I’m drawn to intentional imperfections — those details that reveal the humanity behind the work. I believe design should feel alive and authentic.
